How does Pushing the Envelope (PTE) help its members?

PTE is targeted at individuals who are keen to develop their skills in presentations, public speaking and leadership.

It has been proven that one cannot learn such sought-after skills through short courses. It requires practice, support and feedback.

The audience partakes in an educational experience through fun activities at each meeting. For those seeking additional challenges, there are various contests each year.
More information can be found in the document 'What Happens at a Toastmasters Meeting'.

What are the prerequisites to join the club as a member?

All that is needed is an open mind and a desire to overcome the fear of speaking in public!

The club charges a small membership fee. See the Membership Application Form for additional information.

Where does the Club meet?

PTE meets at:

Mezzanine Room 1 (Sue Healy Room), 247 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000

Meeting dates: 1st, 3rd Thursday of each month.

Meeting Times: 5.45pm for a 6.00pm sharp start, finishing at 8.00pm.
